So apparently it's becoming tradition that every christmas season I make flavoured vodka. This year, I decided I would actually turn it into Christmas gifts for folks, and because of this I stuck with a candy theme rather than my traditional wacky ones. So! Here's how it turned out!
The collection:

I was impressed with how well the colours came out. For those of you wondering here are the flavours:
Gay Bar - Strawberry Mike & Ikes
Health Potion - Cherry Air Heads
"Lemonaid" - Lemon Gummi Bears
Trogdor Blood - Watermelon Air Heads and Lime Mike & Ikes
Swedish Man Berries - Swedish Berries
Liberty Prime's Democracy Juice - Cherry Air heads in 1/3rd of a bottle vodka, the rest is a combo of sangria and cherry schnapps (my friend doesn't like vodka)
Crichton Translator Microbes - Peach Mike & Ikes and Orange Gummi Bears (friend is a huge farscape fan)
Pyro Punch - Cherry Air Heads, a bit of Cherry schnapps, and grenadine for colour (made this one for Sparq

)
Mana Potion - Blue Raspberry Airheads
I used 350ml ice wine bottles that can be bought for about $1 a piece in any wine making store and the labels are made from just regular sticker printer paper that I printed at home with my inkjet printer.
Observations:
Well these take a much shorter time to infuse than my experiments with meat and dairy products last year. Overnight was enough for most of them, at most they would take 2 days. Filtration was a huge pain in the ass though. As you can see in a few of them there is still sediment in the bottom that I couldn't remove with a coffee filter so I'm looking for a way to improve that process. Need to work on that process. These were given out with "Shake before use" instructions.
As for the taste, had I sampled all of them, I'd be drunk, but from what I did taste they are very very sweet. The deeper the colour the less vodka you can taste but it should make these great for mixed drinks and vodka martinis.
